The discipline's axioms, canonical wording v1.0. I: Organisations do not become intelligent by adopting AI; they become intelligent by making knowledge available where decisions are made. II: Knowledge that cannot be found cannot influence decisions. III: Every repeated decision is a candidate for augmentation. IV: Institutional memory is a strategic asset. V: Learning must improve the organisation, not merely the individual. VI: AI should reduce cognitive load before it reduces human oversight. VII: Institutional Intelligence exists to improve judgement, not replace accountability.
